What kind of business is this?
First verify your ID A shop can be a registered company only once your ID is verified, so no one can use the name of a company that is not theirs. You must be one of the company’s directors (a member of a close corporation, a trustee of a trust). Verify your ID in your wallet, then come back to open your shop. Or open it as a sole trader now. Customers see this name when they pay you, and on the public shop list. Work from home? Leave your home address out of the name — a suburb is enough.
The company, as on its CIPC certificate
You must be one of its directors (a member of a close corporation, a trustee of a trust): head office checks your verified name against the company’s papers.
As on the registration certificate, for example 2019/123456/07. An older close corporation: CK1998/123456/23.
Every payout to the company comes with a statement of the sales behind it, sent here. Once the shop is open you add the company’s bank account and documents.
